ITRA Mission


The mission and purpose of ITRA is to promote and develop independent textile rental operators by:

• Creating wider recognition of independent textile rental operators.
• Increasing the efficiency of independent textile rental operators through an interchange of technical ideas and operating methods.
• Engaging in those activities necessary and proper for the accomplishment of these objects consistent with public interest and the interest of this industry.
  

History


ITRA became officially active as a not for profit corporation as of January 1, 2004.
The association is the result of the merger of the Independent Textile Services Association (ITSA), the Dust Control Association (DCA) and the Southwestern Industrial Laundry Supply Association (SWILSA). Our membership is steadily growing, representing the largest international association of independent textile rental operations in the world today.
