The Mission and Purpose of ITRA is to promote and develop independent textile rental operators by:
The term independent company is defined as “a privately-held business entity.” As such, this association is dedicated to providing education and business solutions for our member companies and their personnel.
ITRA became officially active as a not-for-profit corporation as of January 1, 2004. The association is the result of the merger of the Independent Textile Services Association (ITSA), the Dust Control Association (DCA) and the Southwestern Industrial Laundry Supply Association (SWILSA). A joint meeting of the three associations was held October 12-15, 2003, in Key West, FL, where the associations voted to merge.
Our membership is steadily growing, representing the largest international association of independent textile rental operations in the world today.
